Job Description

We're looking for a talented Telesales Consultant to join our team and play a key role in driving sales through engaging phone conversations.

About the Role:

In this role, you will be responsible for outbound calls to generate leads, qualify prospects, and close deals for our exciting products/services. You will build rapport with customers, understand their needs, and present solutions that exceed their expectations.

Responsibilities:

Prospect for new clients through outbound calls.
Qualify leads and identify potential sales opportunities.
Deliver clear and compelling presentations of our products/services.
Answer customer questions and address any concerns.
Negotiate and close sales deals.
Maintain a positive and professional demeanor throughout all interactions.
Meet and exceed monthly sales targets.
Stay up-to-date on industry trends and competitor offerings.

  • Sales Skills: Understanding sales techniques such as prospecting, qualifying leads, handling objections, and closing sales is fundamental. Experience or training in sales methodologies can be advantageous.

  • Product/Service Knowledge: A good grasp of the product or service being sold is necessary to address customer inquiries and highlight benefits effectively. Training is usually provided by the employer, but a basic understanding can be beneficial.

  • Persistence and Resilience: Telesales can be challenging, so resilience and the ability to handle rejection positively are important qualities. Maintaining motivation and continuing to make calls despite setbacks is key.

  • Computer Literacy: Basic proficiency with computers and familiarity with CRM (Customer Relationship Management) software or other sales management tools may be required.

  • Organizational Skills: Managing a pipeline of leads, scheduling follow-ups, and keeping accurate records of interactions are part of the job. Being organized helps in managing these tasks efficiently.

  • Customer Focus: Putting the customer’s needs first and striving to provide excellent service can differentiate a successful telesales professional.
