If you are fresh graduate or junior Designer and looking for a chance to join us, SOMA is an International Firm based in the US, UAE and Lebanon, with sound experience in all phases of Architectural and design.

We are looking to give the opportunity for Architects who are looking to expand their work field experience in all Architectural process aspects and learn efficiently.

What You Will Do During This Internship

• You will have an exciting opportunity to work on projects as a fully collaborative member of an Architectural team, learning sessions focused on delivering a successful project for our clients.

• In addition to hands-on learning, you will experience mentorship opportunities that include, in house training.

Responsibilities & Duties

• Learn techniques and systems required to deliver projects. Learn to understand clear solutions for delivery, be proactive and complete tasks assigned in the allocated time frame.

• Contributes to research-based tasks and ensures the quality of the output are aligned with the applied standards.

• Under the supervision of senior staff, prepares a qualitative and quantitative set of diagrams and drawings covering benchmark and precedent studies. Provides support in research and development of key ideas, case studies, etc.

• Represents ideas and concepts graphically and is able to develop the graphical representation of a design narrative.

• Delivers Photoshop Illustrative Plans and Lumion views.

• Under supervision and guidance, contributes to report production and assist the team in assigned project tasks

• Contributes to maintaining the office physical and digital library of submitted projects etc.

Qualifications

Your Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture

• Fresh graduates are welcome to apply

• Experience using Revit required, AutoCAD, and/or BIM modeling software a plus

• Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud Suite (Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)

• 3D computer rendering skills (SketchUp, 3ds Max, and/or other modeling software)

• Proficiency with MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)

• Hand sketching ability is a plus
