We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer with strong full-stack expertise and a focus on DevOps and developer tooling. In this role, you will primarily contribute to the development of applications for the visualization of medical imaging data, while also driving improvements in engineering workflows and platforms that support our development teams. You will collaborate closely with engineers working on image and data visualization, data pipelines, backend services, and clinical applications to deliver robust and reliable software solutions in the medical domain.

Job Description

  • Design and develop software solutions for medical imaging and clinical workflow applications
  • Develop features for applications visualizing structured medical data and medical imaging data
  • Develop backend services and APIs supporting imaging and data processing workflows
  • Build modern full-stack applications using web technologies, microfrontends and service-based
  • architectures
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design scalable and maintainable software solutions
  • Drive and improve development workflows, automation, CI/CD pipelines, and build systems to support
  • efficient software delivery using GitHub Actions
  • Automate building, testing, packaging, and deploying complex multi-component systems
  • Maintain and own validated automated processes for development and release
  • Collaborate with other teams to establish shared testing infrastructure and automation
  • Support deployment of applications in on-premise and cloud environments (AWS, Azure)
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of our engineering platform and development tooling

Qualifications

  • Degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
  • Strong experience in software engineering with full-stack development
  • Experience with modern programming languages such as TypeScript, C++, Rust, C#, or similar
  • Experience building scalable software systems or applications
  • Familiarity with web technologies and APIs (HTTP, REST, JSON)
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
  • Familiarity with container technologies such as Docker
  • Experience with build systems and package managers (CMake, MSBuild, npm, vcpkg, etc.)
  • Experience with DICOM and FHIR is a plus
  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS or Azure) is a plus
  • Strong analytical thinking and structured working style
  • Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset
