Senior AWS Solutions Architect - Team Lead - Onsite - Lebanon

Digico Solutions is an AWS Advanced Consulting Partner, headquartered in Riyadh with offices in Abu Dhabi, Beirut, and London. We help MENA enterprises, governments, and startups ship cloud and AI on AWS and Claude with compliance built in.

Our Beirut office is the engineering heart of DS. This role anchors it.

The role

You'll own the technical design of AWS engagements end-to-end from pre-sales discovery through architecture, migration plan, and handoff to delivery. You're the person customers trust to make the calls that decide whether a project ships in 12 weeks or 12 months: workload placement, account structure, network topology, identity model, data boundaries.

This is an onsite role at our Beirut office, working alongside delivery, pre-sales, and the AWS Alliance team. Expect occasional travel to Riyadh and Abu Dhabi for customer workshops.

What you'll do

• Lead technical discovery with enterprise customers across MENA. Typical workloads: data platforms, GenAI applications on Amazon Bedrock, regulated workloads in AWS KSA and UAE regions, and migrations from on-prem or other clouds.
• Author Well-Architected reviews, MAP migration plans, and reference architectures that map directly to AWS funding programs (MAP, MAP Lite, POC funding, migration credits).
• Partner with our AWS Alliance Lead to qualify ACE opportunities, build co-sell briefs, and progress deals through APN.
• Own the architecture artifact in proposals diagrams, BoMs, cost models, security and compliance mapping (NCA ECC, SAMA CSF, ISO 27001, ISO 42001).
• Run technical workshops and PoCs, including GenAI workloads on Bedrock and Anthropic's Claude.
• Review designs across the delivery team and mentor mid-level engineers.
• Feed capability gaps and recurring patterns back into our engineering roadmap.

What you'll bring

• 6+ years building production systems on AWS, with at least 3 years in a customer-facing architect role (consulting, partner, or large enterprise IT).
• AWS Solutions Architect Professional certification, or evidence you can pass it within 30 days.
• Deep hands-on across: VPC design, IAM and Identity Center, Landing Zone / Control Tower, EKS or ECS, RDS / Aurora, S3 data lake patterns, CloudWatch and observability, and at least one of: Bedrock, SageMaker, or analytics stack (Glue / Athena / Redshift).
• Proven track record sizing and writing migration plans for workloads at $50K+/month run-rate.
• Strong written English. Arabic is a meaningful plus given our customer base.
• Pre-sales presence: you can run a discovery call, push back on bad assumptions, and close a whiteboard session with a clear next step.

• AWS Specialty certifications (Security, Advanced Networking, Machine Learning, Data Analytics).
• Experience with regulated workloads in KSA or UAE (NCA, SAMA, CBUAE, DESC).
• Working knowledge of Anthropic Claude APIs, agentic systems, or MCP.
• IaC depth in Terraform and/or AWS CDK.
