Job Description

AECOM Edmonton is looking for a Bridge BIM Inspector.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Lead Inspection of complex bridge projects

  • Travel to remote large bridge projects, self driven, independent

  • Provides guiding direction for other inspections

  • Key point of contact for engagements and member of AECOM senior leadership team

 

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

  • Alberta Transportation Class A BIM Certification

  • Bachelor Degree in any relevant engineering discipline (Civil, Construction, etc.)  + 4+ years of experience in bridge inspection OR Technical Diploma + 6 years of experience in bridge inspection

  • Valid driver’s license required, as projects are located in remote areas.

  • Extensive travel is required; the role involves being away from home for extended periods, particularly during the summer months.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous Alberta Transportation bridge inspection experience

  • 10+ years of Bridge BIM inspection experience

  • Effective written and verbal communications skills
