EC Markets is a globally recognised financial brokerage, providing advanced FX and CFD trading services. As part of its growing marketing team, EC Markets is seeking a Social Media Administrator on a 6 month contract to manage and support the administrative and coordination aspects of its global social media presence.


About the Role


The Social Media Administrator will be responsible for the smooth operation of the global social media content calendar, ensuring timely scheduling, coordination, and tracking of posts across all accounts. This role requires exceptional organisational skills and a high degree of attention to detail to maintain posting accuracy and consistency.


Responsibilities


  • Manage scheduling, coordination, and tracking of posts across EC Markets’ global accounts.
  • Maintain an organized content calendar and ensure cross-department alignment.
  • Support uploading, tagging, and publishing content across multiple regions and languages.
  • Monitor posting accuracy and flag any inconsistencies in design or captions.
  • Provide administrative support for campaign rollouts and performance tracking.
  • Coordinate with regional admins (MENA, Thai, etc.) to ensure timing consistency.
  • Gather and organize social media performance data for monthly reports.
  • Maintain documentation of posts, campaigns, and approvals for internal records.


Qualifications


  • Experience in social media management, content planning, or a similar administrative role.
  • Experience of social media management, scheduling and content coordination skills across global platforms.
  • Excellent organisational and time management abilities.
  • High attention to detail in scheduling, captions, and visuals.
  • Effective communication and collaboration with regional teams.
  • Proficient in data tracking and reporting using social media tools.


Required Skills


  • Experience working within the financial services or FinTech industry.
  • Proven ability to meet objectives such as: Accurate and timely scheduling of all planned social media posts, smooth coordination of campaign execution, and zero posting delays or errors.
  • Familiarity with various social media platforms and their respective scheduling tools.


Pay range and compensation package


  • As this is a 6 month fixed term contract, when applicable you'd be entitled to company benefits and opportunities.
