Berman Kia is looking for a reliable, detail-oriented Parts Counter Associate to join our team. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with people, staying organized, and building their knowledge in the automotive industry. This role requires prior parts experience in a dealership setting.

Location: Lincolnwood, IL 
Pay: $41,600–$60,000 OTE
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00AM–5:00PM; occasional Saturdays (8:00AM–4:00PM) with a weekday off in return

What You’ll Do

• Help customers and service technicians find the right parts and accessories with accuracy and efficiency
• Answer questions and offer guidance on basic vehicle maintenance and repairs
• Keep inventory organized by stocking, tracking, and fulfilling orders through our systems
• Handle transactions and phone inquiries with professionalism and attention to detail
• Work closely with the service department to ensure parts are ordered and delivered on time
• Contribute to sales goals through strong product knowledge and customer service
• Maintain a clean, safe, and well-organized workspace

Qualifications

• Prior experience working with automotive parts in a dealership setting required
• Kia parts experience, preferred
• Solid understanding of automotive systems, vehicle maintenance, and repair processes
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to clearly explain technical information to customers and team members
• Comfortable using inventory management systems, POS platforms, and basic retail math
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail, especially in stock control and order accuracy
• Able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a professional approach
• Valid driver’s license required
