Your Opportunity – Manager / Associate Director

The Brisbane valuation practice is expanding to meet strong market demand, creating opportunities for an experienced valuation professional to join our team. In this role, you will:

  • Identify key performance indicators and value drivers across companies, industries, and transactions.
  • Deliver clear, insightful valuation reports that explain assumptions, methodologies, and findings.
  • Build, review, and interpret financial models for businesses and projects.
  • Apply critical thinking to identify issues and collaborate with colleagues across Deal Advisory.
  • Engage with clients to understand business performance, cash flow forecasts, and valuation drivers.
  • Use both traditional and innovative valuation methodologies to assess the value of assets, equity, and debt instruments.
  • Build, develop and help training the Valuation team.

Your Experience

  • Demonstrated significant experience in business valuations (including Purchase Price Allocations / PPA, Intangible valuations, tax valuations etc.) or corporate finance within a corporate advisory or professional services environment.
  • A commercial mindset, resilience, and a drive to improve processes and outcomes.
  • Strong analytical and report writing skills, with the ability to simplify complex information.
  • Proven experience building and maintaining financial models and delivering Excel-based financial analysis.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build trusted relationships, including mentoring junior team members.
  • Strong project management skills, with a track record of delivering multiple engagements simultaneously.

Qualifications

Relevant degree (i.e. commerce, finance, economics) and ideally completion of postgraduate studies (e.g., CA, CFA).
