Job Description

Your contribution to something big:

In this strategic role, you will have the opportunity to shape our corporate sustainability landscape. Your main responsibilities will be:

  • Drive the establishment and development of sustainability frameworks within newly acquired companies, guiding and aligning with key stakeholders and local management.
  • Coordinate the implementation of sustainability policies and manage KPI tracking, ensuring timely initiation of supporting measures.
  • Oversee legal requirements, sustainability trends, including customer requirements and competitor analysis, to identify opportunities and risks.
  • Pioneer the company's focus on the circular economy by identifying high-potential projects and opportunities in collaboration with diverse internal and external stakeholders.
  • Lead sustainable product design initiatives by partnering with R&D and Procurement to identify key drivers and implement strategies to make our product portfolio more sustainable.

Qualifications

What distinguishes you: 

  • Education: You hold a degree in Sustainability, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience: You have several years of experience in a corporate sustainability role, with proven success in managing stakeholders and driving change. Direct experience with regulatory frameworks (e.g., CSRD), circular economy, and sustainable product development is essential.
  • Know-how: You possess excellent project management skills and a proven ability to develop and implement sustainability strategies. You are adept at setting and tracking KPIs and analyzing data to achieve sustainability goals.
  • Languages: You are fluent in English.
  • Working Style and Methods: You are a proactive and entrepreneurial professional who can build structures from the ground up. You are a highly collaborative and structured networker, comfortable with managing multiple complex projects.
  • Personality: You have a passion for sustainability, a strong sense of integrity, and the resilience and diplomacy required to build consensus and drive initiatives forward in an evolving environment.
