Job Description

1. Logistics Digital Transformation & Industry 4.0

  • Lead transformation initiatives targeting warehouse operations, material flow, and intralogistics processes.
  • Drive adoption of Industry 4.0 technologies (AI, IoT, robotics, automation) to improve receiving, storage, picking, and material movement.
  • Identify and implement digital solutions (iFNS, Auto Goods Receipt, Intelligent Supermarket) to enhance inventory visibility, traceability, and warehouse execution efficiency.

2. AI, Automation & Intralogistics Integration

  • Design and deploy AI-powered, agentic workflows to optimize warehouse and logistics operations.
  • Leverage AI tools, including Copilot capabilities, to enhance decision-making, automate routine tasks, and improve user productivity in logistics workflows.
  • Automate key processes such as goods receiving, put-away, replenishment, picking, and transfer order management.
  • Integrate systems using AI APIs, webhooks, and no-code/low-code platforms (e.g., N8N, OpenAI).
  • Enable real-time data flow and intelligent decision support across warehouse and material flow systems.

3. Process Optimization & Warehouse Excellence

  • Drive warehouse performance improvements through inventory reduction, space optimization, and bottleneck elimination.
  • Lead Kanban and pull-based replenishment strategies to streamline material flow.
  • Implement preventive and predictive measures to minimize disruptions in logistics operations.

4. Data Analysis & Operational Performance

  • Monitor and analyze KPIs related to receiving, warehousing, picking, and material flow.
  • Work with Data Analytic team tp develop reports (warehouse capacity, bin utilization, material aging, transfer order analysis) to support operational control.
  • Translate data insights into actionable improvements for warehouse efficiency and throughput.

5. Project Implementation & Change Management

  • Lead rollout of digital tools and automation solutions within warehouse and logistics environments.
  • Conduct user training, workshops, and change management activities to ensure adoption.
  • Collaborate with manufacturing, supply chain, and IT teams to align logistics improvements with production needs.

6. Documentation & Governance

  • Develop and maintain process maps, system architecture, and working instructions for logistics operations.
  • Ensure governance, standardization, and version control for all process and system changes.

7. Knowledge Sharing & Team Development

  • Mentor team members on intralogistics processes, digital tools, and continuous improvement practices.
  • Facilitate knowledge-sharing sessions and promote standardization across plants.

8. Secondary: SAP & System Support

  •  Provide secondary support for SAP Intralogistics-to-Demand (I2D) modules.
  • Assist in troubleshooting warehouse and material flow system issues when required.
  • Support data accuracy through periodic cleansing and validation activities.

Qualifications

  • A Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • 3–10 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, with a strong focus on Material Flow Planning.
  • Experience in AI solution deployment and Industry 4.0 technologies (automation, robotics, WCS).
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills; able to engage across all levels and functions.
  • Flexible and willing to handle ad‑hoc tasks or projects.
  • Result‑oriented, meticulous, self‑motivated, and able to work independently under tight deadlines.
  • Relevant experience in material flow planning within a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong knowledge of SAP and MRP is required.
  • Project management experience in cross‑functional, technology‑driven projects.
  • Team player with strong decision‑making and data analysis skills.
  • Proactive, persistent, and demonstrates a strong sense of urgency with an entrepreneurial mindset.
