Job Description

Your contribution to something big: 

In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our future HMI (Human-Machine Interface) in eBike products.

  • Perform structural simulations (FEA) for our connected HMI devices, from the smallest element to the complete component;
  • Analyze and present simulation results to our design, reliability, and testing teams, playing an active role in design optimization and validation;
  • Actively contribute to developing new simulation methods and implementing them in our ongoing projects;
  • Develop targeted material models for plastics and elastomers by planning and coordinating the necessary material tests;
  • Work within our international network of CAE experts and development teams to find target-oriented and cost-effective solutions;
  • Support standardization, harmonization, and documentation of CAE methodologies, including working procedures.

Qualifications

What distinguishes you:

Education: 

  • You are currently pursuing or have recently completed a degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Materials Engineering, Computational Mechanics, Mechatronics, or a comparable field.

Experience: 

  • Previous experience in the field of simulation and modeling through academic projects, internships, or previous work, is considered a plus.

Know-how: 

  • Knowledge of structural mechanics and FEM (preferably with ANSYS tool). Any additional knowledge in plastics and elastomers is a significant advantage.

Languages: 

  • You have strong communication skills in English (both written and spoken).
  • Knowledge of German is a plus.

Working Style and Methods: 

  • You'll be paired with a dedicated on-site buddy for daily guidance and senior technical experts for mentorship.
  • You work independently and systematically, enjoy proposing creative solutions, and have a detail-oriented approach to ensuring quality and accuracy.

Personality: 

  • You are a proactive and communicative team player, enthusiastic about using technology to solve complex challenges and improve innovative products.
