Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead, grow and mentor a high performing team with psychological safety as the foundation.
  • Guide the team through complex architectural decisions and implementation
  • Drive platform-wide initiatives around security, performance, reliability, and developer experience
  • Drive process improvements that increase engineering efficiency, predictability, and quality
  • Drive operational excellence through observability and SRE principles
  • Advocate for engineering investment, holding the line on quality under delivery pressure
  • Collaborate closely with product, design, and engineering leadership to align on priorities, contributing to roadmap planning
  • Partner with the People & Culture team to hire great engineers and support successful onboarding of new team members


Qualifications and/or Experience Required:

  • 2+ years experience managing teams of 5+ engineers
  • 8+ years of experience designing, building sustainable, scalable frontend architectures.
  • Strong experience crafting engineering roadmaps aligned to product goals
  • Strong cross‑functional collaboration experience with customer‑facing teams (e.g. product, operations, customer service)
  • Strong stakeholder management and proactive communication
  • Strong experience with TypeScript, React and React Native ecosystems
  • Strong experience with web application and cloud security fundamentals
  • Strong experience with observability tools like Datadog
  • Good knowledge of:
    • Scalable frontend architecture patterns
    • Domain Driven Design and putting it into practice
    • Resilience Patterns (circuit breakers, resiliency frameworks, fault tolerance, self-healing mechanisms)
  • Experience with Linux, Docker, and Kubernetes
  • Experience working with CI/CD platforms.
  • Experience working with Infrastructure as Code tools, we use Terraform.
  • Experience implementing GenAI and machine learning technologies, including agentic AI frameworks


Bonus:

  • Experience building or scaling digital platforms that handle sensitive or regulated data
  • Experience working in healthtech or other regulated industries
