Job Description

Northwestern Medicine is seeking a BC/BE Pediatric Hospitalist to join our well-established inpatient pediatrics program focused on safe, high-quality, and compassionate care at Northwestern Medicine Huntley Hospital. This role offers the opportunity to manage a wide range of pediatric conditions within a supportive, collaborative hospital environment. The ideal candidate is patient-centered, adaptable, and committed to advancing pediatric care within our growing health system. 

  • Provide inpatient pediatric and newborn hospitalist care
  • 7 days on, 7 days off hospitalist schedule supporting work-life balance
  • Manage acute pediatric conditions and coordinate care with multidisciplinary teams
  • Collaborate closing with nursing, case management, emergency medicine, and specialty services
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and care teams
  • Hospital privileges at NM Huntley, McHenry, and Woodstock Hospitals
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to program development
