In this role you will be responsible for releasing lamination flat patterns of the assigned car parts towards production department. You will define the plies flat patterns which are compliant to internal rules, procedures and processes for the carbon component manufacturing. Finally, you may support Composite R&D Engineers to release layup information to the Production department for some car parts.

Job Description

Digital Lay-up

Define nesting of the flat patterns.

Model the plies layup using the available software tools (NX-CAD, Fibersim, Laminate Tools, Composite Design).

Compile and release plybooks for car parts production whenever requested.

Interact with the other departments (Design, Production, Quality Control, Car assembly dept).

Professionalism

Provide flexible attendance and attitude to work, both in line with the requirements of the role and any specific requirements of the projects.

To work in a professional manner at all times regardless of the task set and be pro-active in promoting a positive image for the department / team/ sponsors.

To maintain and develop good relationships with other departments.

In line with pay transparency regulations (Legislative Decree 96/2026), the minimum fixed salary for this role is the contractual minimum set by the National Collective Labour Agreement for the Metalworking Industry (Federmeccanica/Assistal) for classification level D2. We specify that the above mentioned level is a minimum threshold and does not correspond to the overall compensation package, which is determined by objective, measurable and gender-neutral criteria, being significantly higher than the contractual minimum indicated.

Qualifications

Technical High School diploma in Mechanics.

Good understanding of the composite design and production processes by using prepregs materials.

Basic Knowledge of the Lectra digitalize module.

Basic knowledge of software tools for plybook compiling (Corel Draw) is preferred.

Basic knowledge of tools used for ply draping, layup simulation and nesting (Fibersim and Design Concept) is preferred.

Basic Knowledge of CAD systems is preferred.

Initiative and Innovation.

Ability to work with the team.

Hard working.

Good communication skills both in Italian and English.

Available to work on early and late shifts if required.
