PURPOSE OF THE JOB:

Support the field sales team by analyzing data, providing insights, managing tools, and optimizing sales strategies to enhance overall performance and achieve sales targets.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Data Analysis & Reporting

• Collect, analyze, and interpret sales data, market trends, and competitor activities to identify opportunities for growth.
• Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to support the field sales team and management.
• Ensure data accuracy and consistency across reporting tools.

Sales Performance Tracking

• Monitor the performance of field sales representatives using key performance indicators (KPIs) such as sales volume, market share, and distribution.
• Identify trends, gaps, and areas for improvement.
• Prepare regular performance reports at both individual and team levels.

Forecasting Support

• Support the sales and demand planning teams in building accurate sales forecasts using historical data and market trends.
• Work closely with the commercial (sales) team to incorporate market inputs, assumptions, and field insights into forecasting.
• Contribute to inventory planning by providing data-driven insights.
• Track forecast vs. actual performance and highlight deviations.

Field Market Exposure & Insights

• Conduct regular field visits with sales representatives to gain a first-hand understanding of execution, customers, and point-of-sale dynamics.
• Gather qualitative insights on competitors, pricing, promotions, and channel performance.
• Use field observations to complement data analysis and improve reporting accuracy.

Sales Tools & Reporting Enablement

• Support the management and continuous improvement of sales reporting tools and dashboards.
• Ensure the field sales team has access to accurate and relevant data.
• Act as a point of contact for reporting-related queries and improvements.

Training & Support

• Provide basic training and support to field sales teams on reporting tools and data interpretation.
• Promote best practices in data usage and reporting.
• Help ensure the team is equipped to use data effectively in their daily work.

Requisitos

• 3 year work experience in a data-related position preferably in the FMCG industry.
• Proficiency in data analytics tools and software.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Abilityto work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic, fast paced environment.
• Knowledge of FMCG market dynamics and trends.
