Job Description

スイスにあるシーカ（Sika）グローバル本社での、体系的な12か月間の国際人材育成プログラムを通じて、あなたのField Market Engineer(FME)としてのキャリアをスタートさせます。
本社を拠点に、他国の同期メンバーと一緒に、2つのターゲットマーケットをそれぞれ6か月ずつローテーションし、実際のビジネスプロジェクトに取り組みながら、財務、営業・マーケティング、R&D などの主要機能にも触れることができます。
この経験を通じて、グローバルネットワークを広げ、Sika の製品やオペレーションに対する包括的な理解を深めることができます。

12か月のスイスでのプログラム修了後は日本へ戻り、添付のFMEとしてグローバルで培った経験を活かして明確なビジネスロールに就き、日本のAutomotive & Industryへの成長へ貢献するとともに、グローバルと日本の連携強化にも寄与します。

■ 主な業務内容（Key Responsibilities）

1. 製品アプリケーションテストの実施
   製品の性能検証、使用性評価、実使用環境を想定したシナリオテストなどを実施し、市場要求基準への適合性を確認する。

2. 担当市場における技術サポート
   顧客からの技術的問い合わせへの対応、トラブルシューティング、迅速かつ適切なソリューション提供を通じて顧客満足度を維持・向上させる。

3. 顧客訪問およびニーズ把握
   定期的に顧客訪問を行い、現場でのフィードバックや潜在的な技術ニーズを把握し、関係部門へ共有・連携する。

4. R&D部門との連携
   新製品の評価・検証を行い、製品設計がローカル市場の要求に適合するよう支援する。

5. 市場・業界動向の分析
   業界トレンドや市場動向、顧客要求を分析し、既存製品および新製品のビジネス機会を特定する。

6. 営業活動の技術支援
   営業チームと連携し、製品プロモーションやマーケティング活動を技術面から支援し、売上拡大に貢献する。

7. 主要案件・プロジェクト管理支援
   営業チームと協働し、主要顧客やプロジェクトの進捗管理を行い、技術的整合性を確保しながら円滑なプロジェクト遂行をサポートする。

8. 技術セミナー・トレーニングの実施
   営業担当者、販売代理店、顧客向けに技術セミナーやトレーニングを実施し、製品知識および技術理解の向上を図る。

9. 技術レポートの作成
   試験方法、データ分析、考察および提言を含む技術試験報告書を作成し、社内および顧客へ共有する。

10. ラボ業務および安全管理
    設備の校正、在庫管理、安全・品質管理基準への遵守を含む日常的なラボ運営業務を遂行する。

Kick-start your career through a structured 12-month international development program at Sika’s global headquarters in Switzerland.
Based at Sika’s global headquarters, you will rotate across two Target Markets (6 months each), working on real business projects while gaining exposure to key functions such as Finance, Sales & Marketing, and R&D. You will build a strong global network and develop a comprehensive understanding of Sika’s products and operations.
You will return to Japan to apply your international experience in a defined business role, contributing to local growth and strengthening collaboration between global and local teams.

Main responsibility

• Conduct comprehensive product application testing, including performance verification, usability evaluation, and scenario-based validation to ensure product compliance with market standards.​
• Provide professional technical support for designated markets, addressing customer inquiries, troubleshooting technical issues, and delivering timely solutions to maintain customer satisfaction.​
• Conduct customer visits regularly to gather firsthand customer feedback, identify unmet technical needs, and document insights for cross-departmental collaboration.​
• Collaborate with the R&D department to test and evaluate new products, aligning product design with local market demands and ensuring market readiness.​
• Monitor industry trends, analyze market dynamics, and assess customer requirements to identify business opportunities for existing and new product launches.​
• Partner with the Sales team to support product promotion, marketing campaigns, and sales initiatives, providing technical expertise to drive business growth.​
• Collaborate with the Sales team to conduct key account and project management, tracking project progress, ensuring technical alignment, and facilitating successful project delivery.​
• Deliver technical seminars and training programs for sales teams, distributors, and customers, enhancing their product knowledge and technical proficiency.​
• Prepare detailed technical test reports, including test methodologies, data analysis, conclusions, and recommendations for internal review and customer communication.​
• Undertake daily laboratory maintenance, including equipment calibration, inventory management, and compliance with safety and quality control protocols.

Qualifications

応募資格

• 化学工学、高分子材料、材料工学、または関連分野における学士号以上
• 海外留学または海外勤務経験があれば尚可
• 日本語：ネイティブレベル
• 英語：読み書きおよび会話においてビジネスレベル以上
• （国際的な技術情報を正確に伝達できる能力）
• 高分子材料または接着剤製品業界におけるテクニカルアプリケーション、テクニカルサービス、または製品試験の実務経験（1～2年以上）**尚可
• 国内外出張が可能であること（顧客訪問、トレーニング、現地サポート対応）
• 社内外の関係者と円滑に連携できる高いコミュニケーション能力
• 高度な問題解決能力、論理的思考力、継続的改善を推進する姿勢

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or above in Chemical Engineering, Polymer Materials, Materials Science, or related technical disciplines.
• 1~2 years of progressive experience in technical application, technical service, or product testing within the polymer materials or adhesive products industry.
• Ability to meet travel requirements (domestic/international as needed) to fulfill customer visit, training, and on-site support obligations.​
• Strong independent work capability with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage deadlines, and deliver high-quality results with minimal supervision.​
• Excellent professional communication skills, capable of interacting effectively with internal teams, customers, and partners at all levels.​
• Native-level Japanese proficiency, Proficient in both written and verbal English, with the ability to communicate technical information clearly, concisely, and accurately in international business scenarios.​
• Demonstrated strong problem-solving skills, critical thinking, and innovative mindset to address complex technical challenges and drive continuous improvement.

Overseas study or work experience is highly preferred.

For the initial 12-month assignment, you will be hired on a fixed-term contract and employed under Swiss labor law, with compensation aligned to the Swiss salary framework.
