Kick-start your career through a structured 12-month international development program at Sikaâs global headquarters in Switzerland.
Based at Sikaâs global headquarters, you will rotate across two Target Markets (6 months each), working on real business projects while gaining exposure to key functions such as Finance, Sales & Marketing, and R&D. You will build a strong global network and develop a comprehensive understanding of Sikaâs products and operations.
You will return to Japan to apply your international experience in a defined business role, contributing to local growth and strengthening collaboration between global and local teams.
Main responsibility
- Conduct comprehensive product application testing, including performance verification, usability evaluation, and scenario-based validation to ensure product compliance with market standards.â
- Provide professional technical support for designated markets, addressing customer inquiries, troubleshooting technical issues, and delivering timely solutions to maintain customer satisfaction.â
- Conduct customer visits regularly to gather firsthand customer feedback, identify unmet technical needs, and document insights for cross-departmental collaboration.â
- Collaborate with the R&D department to test and evaluate new products, aligning product design with local market demands and ensuring market readiness.â
- Monitor industry trends, analyze market dynamics, and assess customer requirements to identify business opportunities for existing and new product launches.â
- Partner with the Sales team to support product promotion, marketing campaigns, and sales initiatives, providing technical expertise to drive business growth.â
- Collaborate with the Sales team to conduct key account and project management, tracking project progress, ensuring technical alignment, and facilitating successful project delivery.â
- Deliver technical seminars and training programs for sales teams, distributors, and customers, enhancing their product knowledge and technical proficiency.â
- Prepare detailed technical test reports, including test methodologies, data analysis, conclusions, and recommendations for internal review and customer communication.â
- Undertake daily laboratory maintenance, including equipment calibration, inventory management, and compliance with safety and quality control protocols.

Requirements
- Bachelorâs degree or above in Chemical Engineering, Polymer Materials, Materials Science, or related technical disciplines.
- 1~2 years of progressive experience in technical application, technical service, or product testing within the polymer materials or adhesive products industry.
- Ability to meet travel requirements (domestic/international as needed) to fulfill customer visit, training, and on-site support obligations.â
- Strong independent work capability with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage deadlines, and deliver high-quality results with minimal supervision.â
- Excellent professional communication skills, capable of interacting effectively with internal teams, customers, and partners at all levels.â
- Native-level Japanese proficiency, Proficient in both written and verbal English, with the ability to communicate technical information clearly, concisely, and accurately in international business scenarios.â
- Demonstrated strong problem-solving skills, critical thinking, and innovative mindset to address complex technical challenges and drive continuous improvement.
Overseas study or work experience is highly preferred.

For the initial 12-month assignment, you will be hired on a fixed-term contract and employed under Swiss labor law, with compensation aligned to the Swiss salary framework.
