Role Impact

We’re not looking for a traditional Product Manager.

We’re looking for a deeply technical, AI-native, customer-obsessed product leader who can build a world-class, consumer-grade experience in a category that hasn’t historically delivered one.

As a Product Manager at Nexford, you will own and evolve critical parts of the learner journey end-to-end. This is not about shipping features. It’s about building a product that learners come back to every day, stay engaged with over months and years, and ultimately credit with changing their lives.

You will operate at the intersection of AI, product, and human behavior. You will deeply understand our learners, speak with them constantly, and translate real needs into thoughtfully designed experiences. You will help define what an AI-native, learner-first university actually looks like in practice.

If you’ve built sticky B2C products, are obsessed with understanding users, and know how to turn AI capabilities into real user value, this role is for you.

Key Responsibilities

Own the Product, Not Just the Roadmap
Take full ownership of product areas across the learner lifecycle. Define what to build, why it matters, and how success is measured.

Customer Obsession & Design Thinking
Develop a deep, continuous understanding of our learners through regular user conversations, research, and behavioral analysis. Apply strong design thinking principles to ensure every product decision is intentional, user-centered, and outcome-driven.

Build AI-Native Experiences
Identify and ship AI-powered features that meaningfully improve the learner experience. Move beyond surface-level integrations and build products where AI is core to the value proposition.

Drive Engagement & Retention at Scale
Design systems that keep learners coming back. Obsess over activation, habit formation, and long-term retention across a multi-month and multi-year journey.

Operate Like a B2C Product Leader
Build consumer-grade experiences for a global audience. Raise the bar on usability, personalization, and product quality.

Turn Data Into Decisions
Instrument everything. Run experiments. Combine quantitative data with qualitative insights to drive prioritization and iteration.

Lead Cross-Functionally
Work closely with Engineering, Design, Data, and business teams to ship high-quality products quickly. Create clarity and momentum across teams.

Move Fast, Improve Constantly
Ship, learn, iterate. Maintain high standards without slowing down. Continuously raise the bar.

Skills & Qualifications

Proven B2C Product Builder
5+ years as a Product Manager building and scaling B2C products, ideally with global audiences. Experience with products that require sustained engagement, not one-time transactions.

AI-Native Thinking (Non-Negotiable)
Strong understanding of AI/ML and hands-on experience building AI-powered products. You know what’s real vs hype and can translate capabilities into shipped features.

Customer Obsession (Non-Negotiable)
You speak with users constantly. You deeply understand their needs, behaviors, and pain points, and you build products that reflect that understanding. Strong experience with user research, usability testing, and translating insights into product decisions.

Retention is Your Game
You have a track record of improving activation, engagement, and retention in products with long customer journeys.

Highly Technical
You’re comfortable going deep with engineers. You understand systems, APIs, data flows, and how modern products are built. You use AI tools daily.

Product Judgment
You know what matters. You can prioritize effectively and make high-quality decisions with imperfect information.

Relentless Ownership
You don’t wait. You don’t need hand-holding. You take responsibility for outcomes, not just output.

Clear Communicator
You can align teams, simplify complexity, and articulate product direction clearly.

If you're passionate about transforming lives through education and have a proven track record of delivering exceptional customer experiences, we encourage you to apply!
