Senior QA Engineer (hands-on, Chapter Lead mindset)

We’re building a platform that runs on tens of thousands of devices worldwide.

Quality isn’t something you check at the end. It has to work from the start.

We’re looking for someone who understands that and can set it up.

This isn’t a QA role. This is a mission for quality.

QA here isn’t about ticking off test cases. It’s about building a system that makes sense and holds up at scale. You won’t be a team lead. But you’ll be the person others look to.

We’re looking for someone who:

• sees things in context, not just individual bugs
• doesn’t settle for “it’ll probably pass”
• sets a clear quality standard across the team

You’ll work where quality is created

• actively testing (hands-on is required, not optional)
• defining QA standards and processes
• helping other testers grow (mentoring, sharing approach)
• identifying weak spots and solving them systemically
• working closely with engineering so quality isn’t an afterthought

How we work

We automate what makes sense. The rest, we do properly.

• Playwright, Postman, E2E testing
• custom testing framework for specific use cases
• manual testing where it adds value

We expect seniority, not just years of experience

It’s not about how many tests you write - it’s what they solve.

• experience with E2E testing (functional, non-functional, smoke, regression)
• JavaScript, APIs, JSON (practical, not theoretical)
• ability to design test scenarios that actually make sense
• mindset: quality is part of development, not a phase
• solid English (spoken and written)

This isn’t for everyone. It will work if you:

• don’t need step-by-step instructions
• solve root causes, not just symptoms
• think about how to improve things, not just maintain them

Practical details

• Prague 6, Evropská 11 (we prefer regular onsite, ideally 4× per week)
• full-time (employment or contractor)
• compensation reflecting your seniority and real impact
• start date by agreement (sooner is better, but we’ll wait for the right person)
