Job Summary:
The Senior Superintendent provides execution leadership on multiple and/or complex projects. This role focuses on maintaining execution discipline, reinforcing standards, and leading recovery efforts on assigned work. The role supports field by identifying execution risks early, scheduling, and ensuring safety and quality standards are upheld.
Key Responsibilities
- On-Time Production at Jobsite
- Coordination and Scheduling of Vendors and Crew to Achieve Profitability on Project
- Clean and Safe Jobsite and overall positive Client and Community projection at site
Competencies:
- On-time production planning: Plans, sequences, and drives daily and weekly production to meet schedule commitments and milestones.
- Effective Sub/vendor coordination: Coordinates subcontractors and vendors to ensure work is sequenced correctly and executed to schedule and quality standards.
- Jobsite standards: Enforces safety rules, housekeeping standards, and professional jobsite appearance consistently.
- Quality control in field: Ensures work is installed per plans and standards, addressing deficiencies promptly to prevent rework.
- Documentation & reporting: Ensures field documentation is accurate, timely, and complete
- Leadership: Leads crews and trade partners with clear expectations, accountability, and consistent communication.
- Budget discipline & resource planning: Manages manpower, equipment, and materials efficiently to support budget and productivity goals.

Responsibilities:
- Oversee 2+ projects simultaneously (size/complexity dependent).
- Create and manage project schedule
- Step in to resolve high-risk field issues.
- Ensure consistent safety, quality, and scheduling standards across sites.
- Support preconstruction and handoff planning.
- Thoroughly document jobsite activities
- Coordinate all subcontractors and inspections.
- Conduct daily huddles, weekly look-ahead meetings, and site walks.
- Partner with Project Manager on schedule, cost, and issue resolution.
- Collaborates with other staff to create preconstruction estimates and budgets for materials and labor.
- Support preconstruction and handoff planning.
- Regularly inspects work for quality and timeliness; prepares and provides progress reports to owners and architects; makes recommendations for necessary modifications.
- Collaborates with architect, engineer, attorney, and other pertinent stakeholders to ensure specifications, zoning requirements, and other regulations are met.
- Ensures specifications and regulations outlined in architectural and engineering plans are followed.
- Monitors budget throughout the project and communicates variances as they occur.
