Job Description

General Characteristics

• Responsible for ESTABLISHING, IMPLEMENTING and DEVELOPING quality management system throughout all disciplines in accordance with project requirements and ISO 9001 at Job Site
• Establishing and administrating overall quality organization for efficient and effective implementation of quality management system
• Prevent COPQ(Cost of Poor Quality) through proactive quality management

Roles & Responsibilities

• Responsible for establishing, implementing and developing quality management system throughout all disciplines in accordance with project requirements and ISO 9001 at Job Site
• Establishing and administrating overall quality organization for efficient and effective implementation of quality management system
• Prevent COPQ(Cost of Poor Quality) through proactive quality management
• Establish Site Quality Execution Plan and announce it at Project Kick Off Meeting
• Distributing task to team staffs and managing work performance
• Developing quality training course to improve work performance
• Establishing process and system to control rework that occurred because of work performed which doesn’t conform to requirements
• Finding potential risks and eliminating them through effective process and system to take preventive action
• Ensuring to apply lessons learned and proper preventive action conducted
• Setting and applying practical work process
• Establishing Quality Performance Indicator and managing actual result
• Analyzing root cause of current issues and suggesting guideline for resolution
• Leading Quality Meeting with Client and Subcontractors
• Conduct Internal Quality Audit for construction staffs and subcontractors
• Carry out Sampling Inspections to prevent any principle quality nonconformance
• Liaising and solving with clients on Quality related matters such as Quality Issue and NCR, observation
• Managing overall Quality Activities to achieve the Mechanical Completion in accordance with project requirement
• Proposing improvements and /or development in the area of quality.

Qualifications

Education

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or relevant field

Experience

• 10+ years of experience in QA/QC inspections from project starts to completion
• Familiarity with project specifications and standards, and medium to large-sized project experience
• Experience in oil / gas / petrochemical or power plants
• Engineering & Construction Company working experience in GCC

Knowledge

• Welding : (1) AWS as a CWI, or (2) TWI CL as a CSWIP 3.1 WI, or (3) an approved equivalent certification level and scheme.
• Mechanical : API 510, 570, 653 (for inspection of pressure vessels, piping, and storage tanks)
• Coating : SAEP-316 Level II by (1) NACE as CIP, or (2) SSPC as PCI, or (3) TWI CL as BGAS-CSWIP, or (4) an Approved equivalent certification scheme required for the WORK.
• ASNT Level II or III

Technical Skills & Competencies

• In-depth knowledge of relevant codes, standards, and regulatory requirements
• Advanced inspection techniques and tools, material testing methods, and documentation.
• Leadership skills
• Ability to mentor and guide team members
• Ability to analyse and solve complex problems and to work collaboratively
