Job Description

Job Summary

• Shall be responsible for the pre and post inspections of all equipment’s/Temporary camp & Office/site connections during construction for its electrical integrity and compliance with project and international standards.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Establishing random & periodic inspection plans and maintaining of record forms as per project requirements and international codes & standards.
• Ensuring inspection status is controlled through efficient tools. 
• Be pro-active and strive to find potential risks and take preventive actions
• Directly report all deviations noticed to direct EHSS reporting authority and executing team for implemented corrective actions.
• Ensure all equipment’s comply with regard to electrical standards.  
• Works hand in hand with different teams and personnel on the assigned task. 
• Supervise, inspect, and sign inspection certificates for all equipment’s/panels/devices incompliance with the established Project guidelines. 
• Ensure load bearing capacities for each electrical equipment complies.
• Ensure a periodic inspection schedule established, communicated, and complied with by sub-contractors.
• Ensure only connections and equipment’s used are complying with industrial standards.

Qualifications

Education

• Bachelor’s degree or associate/diploma in Engineering or equivalent (Civil, electrical, or relevant majors are preferred)

Experience

• Min. 2 projects as Electrical Inspector or Supervisor
• Min. 7 years’ experience in construction field.
• Project based experience in or with EHSS gained in Oil and Gas or Petrochemical industry. 

Skills and Knowledge

• Be through with specifications to be met during construction phase for all temporary electrical connections and equipment’s.
• Relevant competency and International Certifications as applicable.

Language Skills

• Writing and speaking skills in English.
