Job Description

General Characteristics (Job Summary)

  • LBE, MOM, INCR and Overall Civil activities monitoring/controlling / Laboratory Civil Testing / Batch plant inspection.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Managing and performing inspection of Civil discipline.
  • Generate client Requests For Inspection (RFI) where required providing sufficient notice for hold, witness and inspection points.
  • Prepare / Review the following Quality procedure documents submitted by the Subcontractors such are Inspection Test Plan (ITP), Material Approval Request (MAR).
  • Prepare / Review / Approve the related inspection reports where inspection results are recorded.
  • Controlling inspection status by using systematic tools such as inspection matrix.
  • Setting and applying practical inspection process of particular discipline based on Project requirements and International Codes (providing ITP & managing Matrix).
  • Control NCRs to be closed out within the due date and supporting to prepare Corrective Action Plan properly.
  • Performing and coordinating inspection with client.
  • Monitor overall civil activities which includes at Infrastructure & Roads, Flyover Bridge & Tunnel, Asphalt and Concrete work, Underground Utilities, Storm water & Sewerage Network, Piling (Bored Pile & Stone Column), Concrete Coating, Earth works, Tank and Mechanical Foundations, Substation & Control Building, Material Testing Laboratory (Soil, Asphalt, Concrete).
  • Generate client Requests For Inspection (RFI) where required providing sufficient notice for hold, witness and inspection points.

  • Control NCRs to be closed out within the due date and supporting to prepare Corrective Action Plan properly.
  • Performing and coordinating inspection with client.
  • Carry out QC Supervisor’s responsibility in their absence.
  • Control quality violations through regular tool box talk with the construction team.

Work location is Fadhili, Saudi Arabia.

Qualifications

Education and Experience

  • Inspector shall be a High School graduate, or higher.
  • Overall 5 years of experience with Inspection specialty 3 years.
  • Ability to perform a variety of inspection functions with minimal supervision.

Key Requirement

  • Aramco experience is needed.
  • Additionally, with CBT Pass is preferred for QC inspector.
  • If you have SAP No. and pass the CBT, please mention it in your CV.

Knowledge

  • Technical knowledge and familiarity with related international codes and standards in particular discipline.
  • Able to check that suitable and appropriate inspection and test tools are used.
  • Investigate and analyze nonconformities and observations and figuring out solutions.
  • Review and justify the Inspection requests and technical reports.
  • Computer literacy and ability to utilize computer to access data, maintain records, generate reports, etc. and any project specific engineering and construction relevant software.
