Role Overview:

The Outbound Customer Service Officer will join the Wealth Support team and will be supporting our Maltese customers throughout their customer journey, from onboarding to encouraging them to open savings account or to invest through the MeDirect platform. The selected candidate will be working in a fast growing and innovative environment and should have a passion for excellent customer service and well-developed commercial skills.


Duties and responsibilities

  • Acquiring new customers by helping them complete the onboarding process
  • Supporting the Bank’s marketing strategy throughout various campaigns, focusing on cross-selling and up-selling of saving and wealth products
  • Retaining customers who are considering closing their digital relationship with the bank.
  • Providing backup for Inbound Customer Service Team, by answering incoming calls and responding to customer e-mails when necessary
  • Meeting KPIs related to service level, lead generation, appointment booking and sales
  • Generating sales leads and booking appointments for the personal banking team
  • Providing customers with information about the Bank’s products and services
  • Other duties as may be determined by Manager or Team Leader


Required knowledge, skills and experience

  • Previous experience in a customer service role
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both the Maltese and English languages
  • Basic knowledge of banking and financial products will be considered an asset
  • MQF Level 4 Standard of education or higher will be considered an asset
