As our Senior Manager Warehouse Operations, you will play a key role in leading the physical movement of Rituals products across our logistics network. From warehousing and storage to the flow of goods between locations, you make sure our operation runs smoothly today while helping shape what it needs to become tomorrow. You will be part of our Logistics Operations team and work closely with internal stakeholders such as Planning and Sourcing, while also managing senior contacts at our external warehouse partners. This is a role with both operational ownership and strategic impact. You will lead a team of 5 professionals and take responsibility for performance, cost management and continuous improvement across a complex warehouse landscape. At the same time, you will help guide major network changes in the years ahead, including new warehouse openings and the transition towards a more scalable setup. In this role, you will:

• Lead and develop a team of 5 logistics professionals, creating clarity, ownership and growth within the team.
• Manage Rituals’ external warehousing partners across a network of approximately 15 warehouses and ensure strong operational performance.
• Own warehouse-related budgets and costs, monitor KPIs, drive root cause analysis and lead continuous improvement initiatives.
• Safeguard peak season readiness by leading planning and execution for our busiest periods in Q3 and Q4.
• Play a leading role in major network transformations, including the successful opening of new warehouse locations and the transition towards a future-fit network.
• Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including senior partner contacts and colleagues in Planning and Sourcing.

Qualifications

In this role, we are looking for a senior logistics leader who combines operational depth with strategic perspective. You understand warehouse operations in detail, but you are equally comfortable leading change, managing complexity and making decisions with long-term impact. You know how to work with external partners, keep performance high under pressure and support your team in growing along the way.
This role suits someone who enjoys variety, stays calm in a dynamic environment and gets energy from transformation. Experience in e-commerce logistics is especially important, as it brings a different pace and pressure to the operation. Furthermore you:

• Have at least 10 years of warehousing experience and bring strong knowledge of logistics operations.
• Have experience opening warehouses or distribution centres and understand what is needed to make those transitions successful.
• Bring experience in both operational execution and tactical or strategic logistics decision-making.
• Have proven people leadership skills and know how to coach, develop and support a team.
• Have experience in e-commerce logistics; additional experience at a logistics service provider is appreciated.

Location and working conditions

This role is based at our Central Head Office in Amsterdam. We work hybrid with an 80 percent on site and 20 percent work from home split.
