Job Description

  • Scheduling Support: Provide scheduling support to the Texas Instruments Project Management team, ensuring that all project schedules are up-to-date, accurate, and aligned with the company's project management methodology.
  • Project Coordination: Coordinate with project managers, team members, and stakeholders to gather information, update schedules, and track progress.
  • Schedule Maintenance: Maintain and update project schedules, including creating and managing project timelines, milestones, and deadlines.
  • Resource Allocation: Assist in resource allocation, ensuring that resources are assigned to tasks and projects efficiently.
  • Dependency Management: Identify, document, and coordinate dependencies between tasks, projects, and teams.
  • Project Status Reporting: Assist in generating project status reports, highlighting progress, issues, and risks.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Communicate project schedules, updates, and changes to stakeholders, including project managers, team members, and external partners.
  • Issue and Risk Management: Identify, document, and escalate issues and risks to the project management team, ensuring that mitigation plans are in place.
  • Process Improvement: Suggest process improvements to enhance the project management methodology, scheduling, and coordination.
  • Training and Support: Provide training and support to project managers and team members on project management tools, scheduling, and best practices.
  • Data Analysis: Analyze project data to identify trends, patterns, and areas for improvement.
  • Project Portfolio Management: Assist in the project portfolio, monitoring and verifying that projects are aligned with business objectives and priorities.
  • Compliance and Governance: Monitor and verify that projects are supported in compliance with Texas Instruments' policies, procedures, and governance framework.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or related field
  • 8 years of experience in project scheduling or relevant experience
  • Strong experience in project scheduling, tracking, and timeline management
  • Ability to coordinate across stakeholders, teams, and resources
  • Knowledge of risk, issue, and dependency management
  • Good analytical and reporting skills (project data, status reporting)
  • Proficient in project management tools and MS Office
  • Strong communication skills with a detail-oriented and proactive mindset
