Job Description

- Embed risk management processes across the project lifecycle (planning, design, procurement, delivery, and close-out).
- Develop and maintain project risk & opportunity registers
- Lead the identification, assessment, mitigation, and monitoring of project and enterprise risks across construction projects.
- Conduct qualitative and quantitative (QSRA, QCRA) analysis of risks & opportunities
- Advise senior leadership and project directors on emerging risks, trends, and mitigation strategies
- Integrate risk management with commercial, contractual, HSE, and programme management functions.
- Ensure compliance with internal governance frameworks, client requirements, and industry standards.
- Associated reporting including to senior stakeholders

 

Qualifications

- Strong working knowledge of construction risk management frameworks and methodologies.
- Proven experience managing risk on large-scale infrastructure projects, preferably within the Energy sector.
- Ability to interpret contracts and understand commercial and contractual risk.
- High-level stakeholder engagement and facilitation skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capability, with confidence presenting risk-based insights.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including risk reporting to senior stakeholders.
- Comfortable working in complex, fast-paced project environments.
- Proficient in risk management tools, registers, and reporting systems.
