Job Description

As part of our Global Risk Management team, the role of Contract Reviewer is responsible for supporting the operational business to contract with stakeholders and advising on the associated risk.

Key role requirements

  • Undertake contract reviews
  • Liaise with PII and general insurance brokers to confirm coverage, respond to queries
  • Provide ad hoc contract advice to operational teams and liaise with clients/their legal teams (where requested) to resolve contractual matters
  • Support operational teams through the RM process, help them to resolve issues and get into contract quicker
  • Help to improve risk management tools, systems and processes
  • Work with the operational teams to increase risk management awareness, compliance and capability.
  • Where capability is demonstrated, take a leading role in contract negotiations

Qualifications

Technical competence

  • Law degree or equivalent legal qualification/experience.
  • Previous experience of reviewing/re-drafting contracts
  • Strong administrative skillset – Microsoft works tools (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, Powerpoint)

Language competencies

  • Fluent in English – any other local language will be considered favourable
