As the Project Manager you will be responsible for:

  • Coordinate design information and technical inputs during pre‑construction, maintaining accurate information flow between designers, suppliers, and site teams.
  • Track and update programme, cost, risk, and progress data, contributing to clear reporting and informed decision‑making.
  • Prepare and maintain project documentation, schedules, and reporting packs, ensuring accuracy and compliance with governance requirements.
  • Monitor compliance with project success criteria including time, cost, quality, safety, and technical standards — particularly those relating to electrical infrastructure.
  • Support risk identification and mitigation planning, feeding into project controls processes.
  • Engage with clients and stakeholders, supporting communication across engineering, delivery, commercial, and site teams.
  • Support internal project processes, including resource coordination, documentation updates, knowledge sharing, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

  • Working towards a professional qualification (e.g., APM, MCIOB, ICE, IET).
  • Ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks or workstreams.
  • Eligibility to obtain BPSS security clearance.
  • Experience working on infrastructure, utilities, or construction projects (Desirable).
  • Exposure to HV/LV electrical systems or electrical infrastructure works (Desirable).
  • Strong organisational and communication skills, confident working with multi‑disciplinary teams.
  • Ability to travel regularly to northern Scotland as required.
