Responsibilities:
- Maintaining all areas of the golf course, including mowing, trimming turf, maintaining bunkers and other assigned tasks
- Positive attitude towards your fellow turf-maintenance team members and Club members
- Effective communication and cooperation with supervisors daily
Wages & Hours of Work:
- Earn up to $23.74/hour (base rate is $21.74/hour + 2 dollar/hour seasonal retention incentive) + benefits
- Shifts start as early as 5:00 AM or 5:30 AM
- Working 32 - 38 hours per week
Qualifications:
- Experience working outdoors (i.e. golf courses, landscaping or manual labour) is an asset
- Previous experience using hand tools or equipment is preferred
- Have a positive attitude and be a team player
- Enjoy working early mornings and being done early
- Sustain prolonged periods of walking, standing, bending, stretching, pushing, pulling, climbing ladders, or kneeling
- Physically able to operate power equipment
- Ability to occasionally lift to 50 lbs is desirable, but not essential
- Possessing a driver’s license is preferred
Additional Information:
- Must be able to work in a variety of weather conditions
- All on-site training provided
- Golf shirts, work gloves, and footwear allowance provided
- Golf can occasionally be arranged at appropriate times through a supervisor
