About You

You’re a confident and approachable leader who enjoys supporting teams, solving problems, and keeping operations running efficiently. You remain calm under pressure, communicate effectively, and know how to motivate people to achieve strong outcomes.

You’ll ideally bring:

• Strong leadership skills with the ability to coach, motivate and support teams
• Confidence managing daily operations, competing priorities and real-time challenges
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to build positive working relationships
• Strong planning, organisational and problem-solving abilities
• High attention to detail and commitment to compliance and operational standards
• Confidence using technology and operational systems
• The ability to adapt and make decisions in a fast-paced environment

What You’ll Do

In this varied and rewarding role, you will:

• Lead, support and develop a team of up to 45 drivers and cleaners
• Oversee day-to-day depot operations including dispatch, rostering, and service delivery
• Manage operational challenges and make real-time decisions to maintain service performance
• Champion a strong Health & Safety culture, ensuring compliance and safe work practices
• Support incident management, investigations, and reporting with a calm and people-focused approach
• Work closely with HR, Training, Recruitment and Workshop teams regarding staffing, onboarding and fleet requirements
• Build and maintain strong relationships with employees, customers, unions and stakeholders
• Monitor performance and identify opportunities to improve efficiency, service delivery and customer experience
• Help create a positive team culture where people feel supported and empowered to succeed
