Job Description

  • Develop 3D concepts and design complex parts, components, and finished products (lighting solutions).
  • Collaborate with the development team, propose technical solutions, and create cost-effective designs.
  • Document, validate, and release mechanical designs of innovative components and complex assemblies.
  • Initiate new technical, innovative, and aesthetic concepts by conducting feasibility studies and creating prototypes.
  • Design products with consideration for manufacturing processes (internal/external production).
  • Develop innovative solutions in accordance with product requirements (specifications, cost, and quality).
  • Take responsibility for the full research and development cycle of lighting solutions (both electrical and mechanical aspects).
  • Act as a subject matter expert in full product specification, validation, analysis, and problem-solving.
  • Manage validation plans in cooperation with the laboratory team.
  • Be responsible for creating electronic specifications (e-BOM) and configuring product variants in the MRP system.
  • Prepare technical reports and implement “lessons learned” engineering practices.
  • Train and mentor colleagues in engineering best practices.

Qualifications

  • Higher engineering education in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Electronics.
  • 2–5 years of experience as a Design Engineer or Development Engineer.
  • Proficient in SolidWorks.
  • English proficiency at B2 level.
  • Knowledge of Lean system principles
