About this role

At Revere Health, we value the health of our patients above all else. As the largest independent, physician-owned multispecialty medical group in Utah, we deliver care defined by communication, quality, coordination, and innovation. Founded in 1969 in Provo, Utah, Revere Health has grown to numerous medical specialties across more than 100 locations, and as one of Utah’s pioneering Accountable Care Organizations, we offer a uniquely patient-oriented approach to healthcare while keeping the cost of care low.

Position Summary

Revere Health is launching the Integrated Musculoskeletal (IMSK) Program — an integrated service line that places a non-operative musculoskeletal and interventional pain “front door” ahead of coordinated surgical pillars in sports surgery, total joint, foot & ankle, and hand/wrist/elbow. We are seeking an experienced Program Administrator to lead the operational stand-up of this program and to manage its day-to-day operations as it scales.

This is a build-and-operate role. In the launch phase, the Administrator will establish workflows, scheduling pathways, surgical case coordination, referral routing, and the operating cadence for a program that is still being assembled. As the program matures, the Administrator will own ongoing operations, financial execution, compliance, patient access, and team development — partnering closely with administrative and physician leadership to deliver the program’s clinical and growth objectives.

Key Responsibilities

Program Launch & Buildout

  • Lead the operational launch of the IMSK Program, including new-clinic workflows, scheduling templates, intake and triage pathways, and a coordinated referral funnel from the non-operative front door into the surgical pillars.
  • Manage the operational onboarding and ramp of newly recruited surgeons and advanced practice providers, coordinating with enterprise onboarding, credentialing, and the program’s onboarding gate and milestone process.
  • Coordinate facility, space, and equipment readiness at the anchor site and supporting locations to meet launch timelines.
  • Establish the program’s reporting cadence, dashboards, and operating rhythm with physician and operations leadership.

Surgical Services & Case Coordination

  • Oversee surgical scheduling, block-time utilization, and case throughput across the surgical pillars, in coordination with facility and ASC/HOPD partners.
  • Manage prior authorization, surgical pre-certification, implant and vendor coordination, and durable medical equipment (DME) workflows to support timely, financially sound surgical care.
  • Optimize the non-operative front door and advanced practice provider (APP) model to route patients efficiently and capture appropriate downstream surgical and procedural volume.

Operations Management

  • Direct day-to-day operations across orthopedic, non-operative musculoskeletal, and pain management services.
  • Develop, implement, and monitor operational policies, procedures, and workflows.
  • Ensure efficient scheduling, registration, referral management, and care coordination, with a focus on patient access and time-to-treatment.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and lead process improvement to enhance productivity, access, and patient experience.

Financial Execution

  • Manage program budgets and revenue cycle execution, driving collections, charge capture, and clean-claim performance against established targets.
  • Review financial and operational reports, analyze trends, and recommend operational actions to improve collections, throughput, and cost-efficient delivery.
  • Oversee accounts receivable, coding accuracy, and denial reduction in partnership with central revenue cycle teams.
  • Scope note: Payer contracting is conducted at the enterprise level, and physician compensation follows the organization’s established methodology. This role executes within those frameworks rather than setting rates or compensation.

Leadership & Staff Management

  • Foster a positive, patient-centered, high-accountability workplace culture.
  • Recruit, develop, and retain administrative and clinical support staff; conduct performance reviews and support development.
  • Ensure appropriate staffing models and workflow efficiency as the program scales.

Compliance & Risk Management

  • Maintain compliance with HIPAA, OSHA, Medicare, Medicaid, and other federal, state, and local regulations.
  • Ensure proper documentation, credentialing, and accreditation requirements are met, including those specific to surgical and procedural services.
  • Oversee risk management processes to maintain a safe environment for patients and staff.

Patient Experience & Access

  • Promote exceptional patient care and service standards across the care continuum.
  • Resolve patient concerns and operational issues promptly.
  • Monitor patient access and satisfaction metrics and lead improvement strategies.

Strategic Growth

  • Partner with physician leadership to execute program strategy, expansion, and service line development.
  • Support marketing and referral-development efforts in coordination with enterprise resources.
  • Identify and pursue opportunities to improve operational efficiency and patient access.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, business administration, or a related field required; master’s degree (MHA, MBA) preferred.
  • Minimum 5–7+ years of healthcare practice management experience, including direct experience administering an orthopedic, surgical, or musculoskeletal service line (required).
  • Experience launching or scaling a new service line, surgical program, or multi-site operation strongly preferred.
  • Working knowledge of surgical scheduling, prior authorization, implant/vendor management, and ASC/HOPD operations.
  • Strong command of healthcare operations, revenue cycle execution, and regulatory compliance.
  • Experience with electronic health record (EHR) and practice management systems.
  • Proven leadership, financial-execution, and organizational skills, with excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
