Studio Overview

Serasana means “To Be Healthy,” and that’s the mission behind everything we do—creating a community of hope and healing. Founded in Texas by Licensed Acupuncturist Patti McCormick, L.Ac., Serasana combines ancient healing traditions with modern wellness practices in a serene, spa-like setting.

At our St. Johns, Florida location, we specialize in stress and pain management through acupuncture, therapeutic massage, yoga, facials, infrared sauna, healing teas, and traditional remedies. We are passionate about introducing clients to the full healing potential of Chinese Medicine—not just distal needling, but immersive, full-body treatments in a calm, nurturing environment enhanced by aromatherapy, soft sheets, and soothing music.

Our studio features six beautifully appointed treatment rooms and a serene tea bar and retail area designed to support holistic wellness. We also have space available for community acupuncture.

Position Summary
We are seeking a skilled, compassionate, and licensed Acupuncturist to join our integrative wellness team. The ideal candidate will embody professionalism and a passion for healing while collaborating with fellow practitioners to provide whole-body wellness solutions for our clients.

Key Responsibilities

• 
  Provide thorough client consultations including symptom review, medical history, lifestyle, and dietary habits
• 
  Formulate Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) diagnoses and develop personalized treatment strategies
• 
  Deliver acupuncture treatments using a variety of techniques: body points (front and back), electrical stimulation, cupping, gua sha, and moxibustion
• 
  Educate clients on wellness strategies, herbal supplements, and self-care practices using our “Wellness Rx” model
• 
  Maintain accurate SOAP notes and adhere to clinic standards for record-keeping, cleanliness, and client care
• 
  Collaborate with team members across massage, yoga, and skincare to support client outcomes
• 
  Participate in team meetings and trainings
• 
  Ensure compliance with all legal, ethical, and safety guidelines

Qualifications

• 
  Current license to practice acupuncture in the state of Florida
• 
  Current malpractice liability insurance
• 
  Completion of all required continuing education credits
• 
  A commitment to exceptional client care and a collaborative team culture

Physical Requirements

• 
  Ability to bend, walk briskly, and assist clients as needed
• 
  Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs
• 
  Keen eyesight and attention to detail in all aspects of care
