Job Description

Location: Chicago (Hybrid – at least 4 days onsite/week)

Visa Sponsorship: We offer sponsorship under specific treaty-based U.S. work visas, including TN and E-2 (for eligible Canadian, Mexican, and French citizens). We do not support or transfer other visa types (e.g., H-1B). 

We are seeking for an Experienced Application Support Analyst with strong expertise in GMI trading and clearing platforms. Responsible for supporting critical production applications, troubleshooting complex issues, ensuring system stability, and partnering with business and technology teams in a global financial markets environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide L2/L3 production support for GMI and related trading applications.
  • Support GMI core modules including COPYFDC, BOFSET1C, BMERGE, Trade Load, and associated processes.
  • Investigate and resolve production incidents, perform root cause analysis, and implement preventive actions.
  • Monitor application performance and ensure platform stability.
  • Collaborate with business users, operations teams, and developers across global locations.
  • Participate in releases, upgrades, and Follow-the-Sun support activities.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of Application Support experience.
  • 3+ years working with GMI core modules.
  • Experience within financial markets or capital markets environments.
  • Experience supporting business-critical applications in a high-pressure environment.
  • Familiarity with global Follow-the-Sun support models.
  • Strong knowledge of GMI Core modules (COPYFDC, BOFSET1C, BMERGE, Trade Load).
  • Experience with RPGLE, CLLE, SQLRPGLE, and IFS
  • Strong SQL and Linux knowledge.
  • Windows/Linux operating systems experience.
  • Understanding of trading and clearing systems.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills.
