About the Business Division:
RotaMaster is at the forefront of software development, crafting high-quality applications. Our team is dedicated to pushing the boundaries of what's possible, creating solutions that enhance user experiences and drive business success. We’re on the lookout for a talented UI Designer with a strong product design focus to join our dynamic team.

    Job Description

As a UI Designer at RotaMaster, you’ll work alongside our existing designer to craft intuitive, high-quality interfaces for our digital products. The primary focus of this role is UI design using Figma, including the use of AI tools such as Claude to accelerate and enhance the design process. You’ll translate product requirements into polished, user-friendly screens and components that align with our design system. Occasionally, you’ll collaborate with the product team on early-stage concepts and participate in focus groups to help shape the direction of new features.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Design UI elements such as input controls, navigational components, and informational components for software applications.
    • Translate requirements into style guides, design systems, design patterns, and attractive user interfaces.
    • Collaborate closely with UX designers to interpret overall layout and user flows.
    • Maintain and evolve our design system and component library in Figma, ensuring consistency across all product interfaces.
    • Work with developers to ensure accurate, high-quality implementation of visual designs.
    • Leverage AI tools to assist with design ideation, content generation, and workflow efficiency.
    • Perform user research and evaluate user feedback to enhance and tweak designs.
    • Stay up-to-date with the latest UI trends, techniques, and technologies.
    • Occasionally contribute to product concept development and participate in focus groups to gather user insights and inform design decisions.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree in Design, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent relevant work experience.
    • Proven UI design experience with a strong portfolio demonstrating product design work and high-quality digital interfaces.
    • Proficiency in Figma as a primary design tool, including components, auto-layout, and prototyping. Experience using AI tools within the design workflow is a strong plus.
    • Understanding of basic front-end languages: HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (is a plus, not mandatory).
    • Excellent visual design skills with sensitivity to user-system interaction.
    • Ability to solve problems creatively and effectively.
    • Up-to-date with the latest UI trends, techniques, and technologies.
    • Strong communication skills to collaborate with various stakeholders.
    • A product design mindset — able to think beyond aesthetics to consider usability, user flows, and how design decisions impact the overall product experience.
    • Comfortable working within an agile software development lifecycle, specifically Scrum, including sprint planning, reviews, and close collaboration with cross-functional teams.
