Senior Foundry Yield Engineer

Job Description

• Driving yield improvement activities during new product ramp up and volume production including Foundry Defect Density reduction CIP.
• Collaborate with the foundry process tech team, Product & test Engineering and foundry technical manager to design wafer DOEs for yield improvement.
• Support new product tape out process to ensure good WAT test structure coverage and process margin in production.
• Work with foundry on the WAT / Inline monitoring.
• Work with a cross functional team in foundry excursion / RMA / quality issues by supporting data analytics to identify root cause and implement actions and meet delivery requirements.
• Support foundry/fab transfer safe launch data analytics
• Conduct defect density (D0) yield calculation for new projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering function-related discipline, or equivalent experience.
• >5 years’ experience working in semiconductor yield engineering.
• Strong understanding of semiconductor fabrication processes and technologies.
• Proficiency in statistical analysis tools and techniques in PDF Exensio Yield tool
• Other yield tool experiences are preferred: Spotfire and JMP
• Effective communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
