Job Description

Job Summary

This role is responsible for managing OSATs and driving cost optimization, ensuring supply continuity, and leading commercial negotiations while working closely with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead commercial negotiations on pricing, LTAs, price adjustments, capacity reservations, and payment terms.
• Drive cost reduction initiatives (cost breakdown, should-cost analysis, VA/VE, localization).
• Lead supplier selection, qualification, and performance management.
• Manage contracts including MSA, NDA, and pricing agreements.

• Ensure supply continuity for MP and NPI programs, including during ramp-up, transfer, and EOL phases.
• Identify and mitigate supply, capacity, geopolitical, and cost risks.
• Support supplier audits and escalation management when quality, delivery, or commercial issues arise

Qualifications

• 8+ years of purchasing/procurement experience, preferably in the semiconductor or electronics industry.
• Fluency in English is required; Japanese language proficiency is a plus.
• Advanced Excel and data analysis skills; PowerPoint for management presentations.
