Router Operator

Description:
The Router Operator oversees the daily operations within the route area, ensuring efficient project flow and maintaining high standards of production quality. They are proficient in utilizing equipment, materials, and processes necessary for producing top-tier products. Responsible for operating and maintaining all route-related machinery, the Router Operator manages multiple work orders concurrently, ensuring each job meets safety, quality, and timeline requirements. Collaborating closely with the Manufacturing Operations Lead, they prioritize tasks within the route area and resolve project-related issues with their team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate and maintain route-related equipment to ensure safe and efficient production.
  • Coordinate with the Manufacturing Operations Lead to prioritize tasks and manage workflow.
  • Ensure timely completion of projects while upholding quality standards.
  • Gather, analyze, and report on project data as required.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and adapt to project updates and changes.
  • Proactively plan for upcoming work and set milestones to achieve team goals.

Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in using current manufacturing technology, tools, and equipment.
  • Previous experience in the manufacturing industry is preferred.
  • Strong prioritization and multitasking skills to manage tasks effectively.
  • Attention to detail and ability to problem-solve under pressure.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Outstanding interpersonal and organizational abilities.

Additional Requirements:

  • Ability to lift materials weighing over 50 lbs onto the router.
  • Comfort with remaining active and on feet throughout the workday.
  • Overtime and weekend work is required occasionally due to workload
