Job Description

We’re looking for a Compliance & Systems Coordinator to support our laboratory operations across multiple sites. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys a mix of compliance & systems and wants to make a real impact on how sites operate safely and efficiently. In this role, you’ll work closely with site teams to keep compliance on track and support operational improvements with a focus on digitisation.

Responsibilities include however, not limited to:

  • Use PowerBI and PowerAutomate to support operations & reduce manual tasks.
  • Develop and manage a compliance schedule to help sites meet key deadlines.
  • Set up and maintain digital filing systems & dashboards for compliance documents.
  • Support and share best practices across sites
  • Visit sites (approx. 5 days per month) to review compliance, observe operations, and support new initiatives
  • Conduct compliance audits and support laboratory operations
  • Train site teams on systems, including document management and LMS usage
  • Ensure staff training is current and records are accurate and accessible
  • Maintain registers (e.g. chemical, equipment, and classified plant)
  • Assist with updating site documentation (SOPs, safety plans, procedures)
  • Help close out non-conformances (NCs) and identify improvement opportunities

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Experience with Power Automate & Power BI
  • Qualification in Chemistry or a related field
  • Experience in a laboratory environment with chemical knowledge
  • Strong understanding of compliance systems and quality standards (ISO 9001)
  • Experience with administration and digital systems
  • Confident using systems such as LIMS (CCLAS preferred)
  • Strong communication skills and experience supporting or leading teams
  • Good attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
