PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

The Order to Cash (O2C) Manager will lead the end-to-end O2C process within the Finance Shared Services Center. This role is responsible for ensuring efficient revenue management, cash application, credit management, and collection and dispute resolution. The manager will drive process excellence, compliance, and continuous improvement while leading a team to deliver high-quality service to internal and external stakeholders.

OTC: (Customer masterdata set-up and maintenance, daily cash application, month-end close process and collections activities)

Performance should meet the requirements defined in the SLA/KPI’s (timely, accurate).

Key Responsibilities

  • Process Leadership

    • Oversee the complete O2C cycle: order management, invoicing, collections, cash application, and credit risk and collections management.

    • Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements.

    • Monitor KPIs (DSO, collection effectiveness, unapplied and unindentified cash) and implement corrective actions.

  • Team Management

    • Lead, mentor, and develop the O2C team within the FSSC.

    • Allocate resources effectively to meet service-level agreements (SLAs).

    • Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

  • Stakeholder Engagement

    • Act as the primary liaison between FSSC and business units for O2C matters.

    • Partner with Sales, Finance, and Customer Service teams to resolve disputes and improve customer satisfaction.

    • Provide regular reporting and insights to senior management.

  • Continuous Improvement

    • Identify automation and process optimization opportunities.

    • Drive digital transformation initiatives (e.g., ERP enhancements, RPA, AI tools).

    • Implement best practices to improve efficiency and reduce operational risks.

 

Qualifications

• Bachelor or University degree in Finance/Accounting.

• Minimum 8 years of experience in a management role, including staff management.

• Experience in managing a team of minimum 10 staff members

• Experience with change management as well as working in a multicultural and international environment.

• Understanding of relevant regional accounting practices and the regulatory environment

• Experience in continuous improvement initiatives, root cause analysis and project management

• Genuine interest in business process standardization  

• Customer orientation and intercultural competence  

• Team player

 

Qualifications

• Bachelor or University degree in Finance/Accounting.

• Minimum 5 years of experience in a management role, including staff management.

• Experience in managing a team of minimum 10 staff members

• Experience with change management as well as working in a multicultural and international environment.

• Understanding of relevant regional accounting practices and the regulatory environment

• Experience in continuous improvement initiatives, root cause analysis and project management

• Genuine interest in business process standardization  

• Customer orientation and intercultural competence  

• Team player

• Drive for results and demonstrate a decisive coaching leadership style

• Willingness and ability to travel including international trips (25%)

• Knowledge of Oracle E Business Suite is a plus. 

• Experience in Finance Shared Services / BPO environment is a must
