To strengthen our division Natural Resources we are currently looking for a passionate and driven Sales Representative  for the Minerals & Metals sector.

As a Sales Representative, you’ll be the driving force behind expanding SGS’s footprint in the Minerals & Metals sector. You’ll engage directly with clients, identify new business opportunities, and deliver tailored solutions that meet their operational and compliance needs. This role blends strategic thinking with hands-on sales execution, requiring resilience, curiosity, and a passion for results.

Key Responsibilities

  • Client Acquisition & Retention: Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities across BENELUX and Germany. Build long-term relationships with clients in the commodities sector.
  • Solution Selling: Understand SGS’s service portfolio and craft compelling proposals that address client challenges in testing, inspection, and certification.
  • Market Intelligence: Monitor industry trends, competitor activity, and regulatory changes to position SGS as a trusted advisor.
  • Sales Strategy: Collaborate with internal teams to develop and execute sales campaigns, pricing strategies, and client engagement plans.
  • Performance Tracking: Maintain accurate records of sales activities, pipeline development, and client feedback using CRM tools.

What You Bring

  • Proven experience in B2B sales, preferably in industrial services, commodities, or TIC (Testing, Inspection, Certification) sectors
  • Strong communication skills in Dutch, French, and English
  • Ability to work independently and travel frequently for client meetings and industry events
  • A proactive mindset with a knack for uncovering client needs and translating them into actionable solutions
