About you…
As the Lead Business & Wholesale Acquisition Manager, you will play a leading part of the client acquisition journey and drive our growth in revenue.

You will target predominantly large and strategic businesses (public and private sector), hyperscalers, and major carriers who will benefit from Ogi’s services.

You will be empowered to build and nurture relationships with prospects and decision makers at all levels in

an organisation through effective communication and networking.

You will understand the need and drivers, identify the key decision makers, and drive new revenue opportunities through the sales cycle.

Familiar with business to business sales techniques, you will be comfortable positioning Ogi’s business and wholesale services to meet customer needs, acting as a trusted advisor, and building a pipeline to exceed personal targets.

The role will report to the Head of B2B&B2W Sales, and you will work alongside a team of ambitious B2B sales people and technical experts who are committed to succeeding together.


What you’ll be doing…
This a high-profile role and will be crucial in owning and delivering the new business-to-business acquisition and business to wholesale target, attracting new logos, managing margins, and driving revenues.

The Business & Wholesale Acquisition Manager role will include, but not be limited to:

Identifying and targeting new B2B opportunities in the private and public sectors through a combination of networking, prospecting in the field, phone and video calls, and face to face meetings and presenting.

Positioning high capacity/speed connectivity, dark and lit fibre services, micro-duct proposition, and managed hosting services alongside our design expertise, including the value services portfolio including Security, Wi-Fi, Voice, Microsoft Services, consultancy engagement and support services.

Developing strategic sales plans for our target customers identifying primary stakeholders and decision makers, understanding their business, and uncovering opportunities to sell our services.

Identifying and targeting new wholesale opportunities in the private and public sectors through a combination of networking, prospecting in the field, phone and video calls, face to face meetings and presenting.

Researching and understanding a prospects’ requirements to advise clients accordingly on the best solution and services required to meet those requirements.

Identifying and positioning the comms strategy for customers in the short, medium, and long term, and tailoring solutions that best utilise Ogi’s services to generate revenue growth.

Growing and maintaining a sales pipeline of short, medium and long term opportunities, keeping these opportunities updated and moving towards the estimated close date on our CRM system.

Achieving monthly sales revenue targets, building adequate pipeline to meet / exceed these targets.

Securing appointments with decision makers, presenting solutions that meet customer requirements.

Attending a minimum number of meetings (e.g. networking events, new leads, existing opportunities) on a weekly basis, number to be agreed with line manager.

Working with a team of technical pre-sales resource, providing timely, accurate proposals to prospects and customers and ensuring the correct pricing and margins are achieved for products and services sold.

Enhancing data held in CRM systems with further intelligence on prospects and customers to assist Marketing activities in ‘nurturing’ potential targeted opportunities.

Being the main point of contact for your prospects, communicating in a timely and professional manner, and assuring responses from others involved for your prospect (e.g. for tender responses).

Developing relationships and increasing brand awareness across the business community in Wales.

Representing Ogi (the company and its services) in a professional and knowledgeable manner at business groups and industry events when required and presenting at these events if required.

Working closely with the Ogi team, collaborating on marketing initiatives, and developing bespoke and tailored marketing and comms solutions to further drive opportunity and build pipeline.

Evaluating and communicating customer research, wholesale market conditions, and competitor data to the management team.

Ensuring your technical knowledge is kept up to date and relevant by completing relevant Vendor certification training and keeping these qualifications up to date, utilising networking / researching / reading blogs and news sources.

Providing excellent administration of client orders – making sure all orders are properly documented and meet Ogi commercial and technical sign off requirements.

Review, coordinate and respond to any customer tender documents, managing a cross functional solution definition team, liaising with internal stake holders to obtain the relevant sign off.

Skilled in use of IT systems particularly Microsoft Dynamics, Teams, Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
