Lead Auditor with CQI/IRCA certifications (ISO45001:2018, ISO9001:2015, ISO14001:2015 (GBS Technical Reviewer)

Job Description

The GBS Technical Reviewer has to check that ISO 9001 and/or ISO 14001 audit report packs comply with all relevant requirements. The Technical Reviewer’s responsibility is to verify that the audit has been conducted in accordance with all SGS procedural requirements, including team competence, audit time spent, structure of audit plan etc. and to confirm that the output of the audit is technically appropriate and adequate to support the recommendation of the audit team.

·       Check audit report packs that:

o   All documentation is present and complete

o   Any changes made since the client’s application verified as not adversely affecting certification

o   Any concessions etc. in the case of delayed or otherwise deviating visits have been properly approved

o   Scope is clearly defined, including site identification, standard, etc.

o   Certification scope aligns with CDS or any change is explained

o   Correct Industry EAC/TA code assigned

o   Audit scope is covered by the selected SGS CBE accreditation

o   Assigned audit days in accordance with guidance and deviations justified

o   Proposal was correctly approved

o   Audit conducted by appropriate competent auditor/team

o   Team contains any necessary additional qualification defined for specific standard

o   For V1R (Re-certification) timing of audit is correct

o   Audit plan consistent with required audit days, team composition, shift structure and multi-site activities

o   Nonconformities identified as appropriate, Maj/Min classification correct, Wording is clear and reflects severity. Report content supports classification.

o   Observations and/or opportunities for improvement documented and clearly and appropriately worded

o   Audit in conformance with SGS CBE Global and Local Procedures and any applicable project, sampling or quality plan

o   No major nonconformity remains open

o   For Minor non-conformity, the clients proposed corrective action has been reviewed and accepted

o   Audit covers all relevant Management Systems aspects and processes

o   Team recommendation is consistent with audit findings

·       Raise queries to the relevant person if any of the above items are not adequate.

·       Phrase the queries in a constructive way

·       Perform the review in a timely manner (5 working days net time from report pack received until approved or rejected)

·       Use the relevant IT systems as necessary (APPLAUDD+, Certnet)

·       Knowledge of:

o   specific management system standards/normative documents

o   SGS CBE processes and procedures

o   audit principles, practices and techniques

o   client Business Sector

·       Keep the above knowledge up to date

Qualifications

·     University degree

·     Fluency in English

·     At least 5 years working experience in an administrative or engineering or managerial or supervisory position

·     Successful pass of a Lead Auditor course for ISO 9001 and ISO 14001

·     Auditor or Lead Auditor qualification for ISO 9001 and/or ISO 14001 is an advantage

·     Any experience related to ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 standards and certification is an advantage
