Green Valley Landfill Limited (GVL), a joint venture with Veolia Hong Kong & Macau, manages the South East New Territories (SENT) Landfill and its extension. GVL focuses on sustainable waste management, converting landfill gas into electricity, fuel, and synthetic natural gas.

Job Description

• Oversee all site-wide electrical systems, routine maintenance, and troubleshooting across High Voltage (HV) and Low Voltage (LV) switchrooms
• Coordinate with electricians and contractors for repairs, routine inspections, annual inspections, and system upgrades
• Manage site power distribution, load balancing, and import/export functions while implementing strategic energy-efficiency measures
• Liaise with Fire Services Department and contractors on maintenance, inspections, and emergency procedures; ensure fire safety systems are operational and compliant
• Conduct routine maintenance and troubleshooting for HVAC systems, potable water networks, and sewage building service equipment
• Ensure all facility operations meet local health, safety, environmental, and strict HV/LV regulatory standards
• Maintain comprehensive, audit-ready building service maintenance logs, operational records, and system performance history
• Other ad hoc projects as assigned by the management

Qualifications

• Degree holder in Electrical / Building Services Engineering or equivalent
• Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese
• Holder of REW Grade B & H or above
• Holder of Green Card, Driving license (1, 2)  
• Holder other qualifications relative to industrial field are preferred                                                                                                          

Additional Information

Requirements:

• Minimum 7 years of experience in wastewater treatment plant operations or E&M project site work and progress monitoring, with at least 3 years in a supervisory role
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence with strong documentation skills
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form
• Proven leadership skills in managing teams and subcontractors to conduct various maintenance tasks
• Willing to work flexible hours (shifts, weekends, and public holidays to support continuous site operations)
• Independent, self-motivated, and results-oriented with ability to work autonomously
