Job Description

The Technician (Mechanical) will be reporting directly to Project Manager. The position includes, but not limits to, installation and repair of mechanical equipment of Ultrafiltration/ reverse osmosis (RO) plant. In this role. You will be also trouble shoot on mechanical problems and perform maintenance, repair or replacement of parts to correct malfunctions. Disclaimer: the duties and responsibilities described are not a comprehensive list and that additional tasks may be assigned to the employee from time to time; or. the scope of the job may change as necessitated by business demands.

Responsabilities:

The Technician (Mechanical) is responsible to perform the below tasks but not limited to,

ā€¢ Carry out over all mechanical task, piping and schedules in prefiltration/RO facility.

ā€¢ Troubleshooting malfunctions and operating defects and propose the adequate solution.

ā€¢ Under the guidance of discipline responsible, to carry out related plant modification works.

ā€¢ Replace and Install specified parts and/or make required adjustments.

ā€¢ Ensures project equipment runs correctly, perform emergency repairs when required.

ā€¢ Maintain & organize the tools regularly.

ā€¢ Maintain a good housekeeping and adhere EHS regulations and requirements.

ā€¢ Optimize and assist with the development of operational quality system

ā€¢ Maintains appropriate housekeeping for plant facilities cooperating with other departments. ā€¢ Ability to work independently most of the time, but report to his supervisors.

ā€¢ Train and coach junior Technicians continuously

Qualifications

ā€¢ DEUA/Mechanical Trade certificate/ At least 3 years for Diploma or 8 years for Trade/technician certificate holder work experience in rotary equipment for water treatment /chemical/Oil refineries/power plants/RO plants
