Your focus areas are global Vehicle Purchase and Vehicle Sales. With a fleet of >100.000 vehicles and those being our single biggest cost, the lever can’t become any bigger.

YOUR ROLE AT SIXT

• Light Up the Fleet Tech Roadmap: Partnering with the VP Fleet Engineering and Fleet Product Lead, you spot where AI creates real leverage and build it before anyone else has finished the slide deck
• Zero to Shipped - Fast: You own the full loop: business pain point → working product → production. No PM handoff. No sprint ceremony delays. Days, not months
• Get the missing puzzle piece: AI helps you building 10x faster. The missing piece to impact is business understanding. In this role you learn from both senior management and operational experts
• Turn MVPs into Real Products: You're the engineering anchor for Fleet Analytics colleagues building their first AI-powered tools. You guide, review, and uplift - so prototypes don't die in staging

YOUR SKILLS MATTER

• Tech Stack You bring 5-10+ years of hands-on full-stack engineering - Java/JavaScript, backend-heavy, distributed systems. You've shipped solo or in tiny teams. You know what "production-ready" actually means
• AI-First Mindset You supervise agents generating production code. You're not experimenting with AI, you're orchestrating it
• Business Fluency You align directly with senior business stakeholders, then context-switch into architecture decisions. Both feel natural
• Ownership No roadmap handed to you. No requirements doc waiting. You thrive on ambiguity and close it fast
• Language You are fluent English, German is a plus
