Job Description

 So, what are the main responsibilities of an Editorial Content Specialist in Netcompany? 

As an Editorial Content Specialist, you will:

• Create high-quality content for print and digital publications across topics such as economics, infrastructure, technology, and sustainability.
• Draft, edit, and refine a wide range of materials including reports, speeches, articles, op-eds, social media content, and blog posts.
• Manage content production lifecycle from concept to publication, coordinating with internal teams across the organisation.
• Translate complex technical information into clear, engaging, and accessible content for broader audiences.
• Identify compelling stories (companies, people, innovations) and develop them into engaging narratives.
• Use AI tools for content generation, summarisation, and improving efficiency in editorial processes.
• Work closely with designers, subject matter experts, and communication teams to ensure cohesive messaging and output.
• Ensure all content meets high editorial standards, brand consistency, and accuracy across platforms.

Qualifications

What would make you a fit for the role:

• Degree in Journalism, Communications, Economics, Public Policy, or a related field.
• 4–10+ years of experience in editorial roles, publishing, media, or content production (print/digital/multimedia).
• Demonstrated experience with published work showcasing writing, editing, and storytelling skills in English.
• Strong ability in writing, editing, proofreading, and adapting tone for different audiences and formats.
• Ability to manage multiple content projects simultaneously and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience working with complex or technical subject matter and simplifying it for general audiences.
• Full professional proficiency in English (C1 required); other languages (French, Spanish, German) are an advantage.
• Familiarity with digital publishing tools, Microsoft Office, and experience using AI for content creation and summarisation.
