Job Description

Role purpose 

• Manage all processes for In-house seed quality testing, In-process Quality checks, product release protocols and seed storage at warehouse and C&F locations that enables delivery of company & customer expectations for products produced in India. 
• Timely declaration of quality results to support the smooth functioning of seed business. 
• Monitoring of Foundation (SAP) system, inform to collages for changes, coordinate with external stake holder to align/capture our need in system. 
• Responsible for handling customer complaints in fields crops both external and internal customers. Coordination for NC’s, Product derogation and Process deviation. 
• Effective utilization of the inventory stock with correct categorization of existing stock. 
• Prioritization of the inventory for its effective utilization. 
• Develop close working relationships with Operation, Production, and Supply Chain teams to ensure effective implementation and application of product quality programs in compliance to local regulatory requirements 

Resources optimization during the peak and lean period  

Qualifications

Critical knowledge 

• Quality testing logic and methods including Grow Outs 
• Reliance EtQ 
• Processing, Packing and Supply in Syngenta and as a function 
• Certificate of participation in ISTA Workshop on seed sampling, Physical Purity & Germination  
• Competency Checks / Calibration – Check Sampling, Check Analysis & Reference Analysis

• Timely declaration of quality results to support the business and identify the areas to increase the efficiency of processing and packing. 

Additional information 

 Ability of travel across the India. 

Closely monitoring the germination performance and track any deviation through SPC. 

Launch gauge Repeatability & reproducibility programme.
