Role Overview

As an Automotive Technician at Dickson City Hyundai, you’ll perform vehicle diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance on a variety of models. You will be responsible for delivering high-quality service while ensuring all work is completed efficiently and meets dealership and manufacturer standards. We’re looking for team members who are passionate about cars and dedicated to providing excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform vehicle inspections, diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs.
• Work efficiently to meet dealership and manufacturer standards.
• Use advanced diagnostic tools and software to pinpoint and repair vehicle issues.
• Complete thorough multi-point inspections and communicate findings to the Service Advisor.
• Maintain an organized, clean, and safe work environment.
• Stay current with technical training and certifications.
• Collaborate with the service team to ensure a seamless customer experience.
• Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines at all times.
• Properly document all repairs and services performed on vehicles.
• Keep up with manufacturer training and certifications to remain current on the latest automotive technology.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• Experience: Minimum of 2 years as an automotive technician (preferred)
• Certifications: ASE certifications are a plus
• Pennsylvania Inspection and Emissions Certification: A plus
• Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work well in a team environment
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Commitment to maintaining a high standard of work quality
• Willingness to continue learning and improving technical skills

Work Schedule

• Full-Time Position
• Hours: Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.; Saturdays and Sundays off.
• Additional hours may be required as job duties demand.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift approximately up to 50 pounds
• Prolonged periods of standing, bending, and working on vehicles
• Manual dexterity and physical stamina for heavy equipment operation
