Inventory and Procurement, Business Development and Operations Manager

Position Summary

We are seeking a Inventory and Procurement, Business Development and Operations Manager to join our multidisciplinary team.

Key Responsibilities:

Inventory Management

  • Maintain accurate, real-time inventory across all entities 
  • Ensure stock availability aligned to demand 
  • Achieve and maintain ≥98% inventory accuracy 
  • Monitor stock levels, usage, aging, and expiry 
  • Conduct stock counts, audits, and reconciliations 
  • Produce inventory reporting for Finance and Leadership 


Procurement & Supply Chain

  • Manage supplier sourcing, selection, and negotiations 
  • Drive measurable cost savings and margin improvement 
  • Analyse landed costs (unit price, freight, duties) 
  • Standardise procurement processes, controls, and approvals 
  • Monitor supplier performance, lead times, and reliability 
  • Reduce overstocking, expiries, and waste


Cost Optimization & Profitability 

  • Identify and implement cost-reduction initiatives 
  • Minimise wastage, shrinkage, and expired stock 
  • Improve gross margins through procurement strategy 
  • Align purchasing with financial targets and demand signals 
  • Partner with Finance to validate and track savings


Systems & Technology Ownership 

  • Lead implementation and adoption of applicable company systems
  • Ensure system utilisation, data accuracy, and compliance 
  • Drive automation and reporting improvements 


Bermuda Group-Wide Business Development & Growth Activation

  • Drive commercial growth initiatives across UCG companies and affiliated business units.
  • Identify and execute partnership, referral, and business development opportunities.
  • Support activation of startup and growth-stage businesses.
  • Assist in launching new services, programs, and operational initiatives.
  • Build and maintain corporate, institutional, and strategic partner relationships.
  • Coordinate follow-up, conversion, and relationship management activities.
  • Develop and maintain visible growth pipelines and opportunity tracking systems.
  • Support medical tourism and international client growth initiatives.
  • Assist leadership in evaluating new commercial opportunities and expansion initiatives


Operations & Execution Coordination

  • Coordinate operational activities across assigned projects and initiatives.
  • Support implementation of systems, workflows, and operational processes.
  • Monitor progress of operational initiatives and escalate blockers proactively.
  • Ensure assigned projects move from planning into execution.
  • Coordinate with vendors, contractors, consultants, and external stakeholders.
  • Support operational readiness for new business launches and service rollouts.
  • Assist with logistics coordination, implementation tracking, and accountability follow-up.
  • Help ensure operational consistency and customer experience standards


Sales, Revenue & Partnership Execution

  • Lead and execute structured growth activities, including:
  • Corporate outreach
  • Strategic partnerships
  • Referral ecosystem development
  • Community engagement
  • Institutional partnerships
  • Revenue-generating initiatives
  • Business networking and activation
  • Responsibilities include:
  • Maintaining active outreach pipelines
  • Tracking conversion activity
  • Managing follow-up processes
  • Supporting revenue generation initiatives
  • Assisting with client acquisition and retention strategies
  • Supporting partnership growth and relationship maintenance


Startup, Development & Turnaround Support

For startup, underdeveloped, or growth-stage entities, this role will:

  • Support operational setup and business activation activities
  • Coordinate market activation initiatives
  • Assist with supplier, vendor, and partner coordination
  • Identify execution gaps and operational blockers
  • Support implementation of structure, pace, and accountability systems
  • Assist with onboarding operational workflows and systems
  • Help transition projects into operational and revenue-generating status


GOVERNANCE, REPORTING & ACCOUNTABILITY

This role will:

  • Operate under strategic direction from UCG leadership
  • Work autonomously while maintaining accountability
  • Escalate risks, delays, and operational barriers proactively
  • Maintain structured reporting and project tracking
  • Provide regular updates regarding:

progress,

blockers,

revenue activity,

operational status,

and next-step execution plans


Qualifications
Required

  • MBA or Master’s degree in Leadership, Business Administration, or related discipline(or equivalent)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills



Preferred
Experience

  • 5+ years experience in:business development, operations, project coordination, partnerships, marketing, sales, or operational management
  • Experience in: healthcare, hospitality, medical tourism, education, wellness, retail, SaaS or professional services is considered an asset.
